In 2001, EnVision Corp developed a coated patented technology for using recycled low-grade wood and applying a polymerized gesso coating to create high grade finished architectural moldings. In 2004, after securing a nationwide contract to supply the Home Depot, the company was reorganized as Composite Technology International and moved manufacturing to mainland China.

During the next five years, the company grew from $1M in annual sales to over $40M.

EnVision Corporation exited in 2008 through a cash sale to other shareholders
